Painting in Progress (Space Carrier)

Quick sketch/painting to test new ways of actually speeding up my work flow. Will continue working on this and will be done soon.

Mayan temple set in the jungle. Slowly withering away through the greatness of mother nature which slowly creates it into a work of peaceful bliss.

Almost complete:

Due to me not having a pen at the moment this is all I could do until a pen comes through the mail or a friend of mine allows me to use theirs. However I have learned a lost about different materials such as liquids, glass, fur, cables, and more.

However I'm still on the rocks on making sure the art style fits the rest of the character and that it looks proportionally correct.

Finally! The character has been completely sketched out after spending countless hours studying human anatomy and making sure the clothing fits the style of a "Eastern Sniper in the Future". The last painting was okay but, there was  a lot of mistakes I wanted to make sure I would not repeat.

This is second piece I have worked on in photoshop and I've noticed trying people has begun to be a bit more natural. I just need to stop thinking so much and just draw/paint and then let my mind wander to see what I can pick out of the design. Only then will I become a grand concept artist.

Still no pen to work at home so I've had to go to my friends apartment and work the nights there and sometimes I've had to sleep over so I can make sure I can make this the best work of art so far.

I'm going to work on the grey scale followed by the color and hopefully finish by tomorrow morning.

Character Design Redone:

Still learning how to use photoshop but, I'm gradually loosening up my grab on the pen. However as you can see I'm getting stuck on wanting to do as much detail as possible.

Would love to get this done as soon as possible however its getting harder and harder as I notice that losing your pen can make you lose a great deal of progress. All the time I could spend working on the character artwork I can't unless I sketch him out, which I have done. However I would still need to put it through photoshop which would be a no go.

I would go to the art room to just draw him out in color, if only the labs were open for me to attend. As of now unless I can buy a new tablet pen I'm lost to the hopes of good friends lending me their only pends. Wish me luck since I hope to get this done today if not tomorrow. Sooner the better.

Eastern Sniper in the Future

Character still in pre pro but, having some complications with what pose I should go with. He's a wandering prince that lost his country and watched as his family was murdered by an invading force that now controls their once beloved dynasty. He's been forced to roam up in the mountains and shelters himself close by a peaceful village that has been occupied by the ruthless invaders as a garrison. He believes that his fight was lost back with his family so will not support a rebellion but, cannot watch as his cherished village is slowly destroyed.

This era is much like the Sengoku Jidai era of Japan but, more plasma bearing rifles, glowing eyes, and special robotic weapons, and impenetrable materials.

First photoshop made character made for a class. Its finished but, because of some small issues I would like to make it better so the viewer reads it better.

Any comments would be awesome.
